Have you ever asked yourself, “Where did I come from? or “Could the trees, flowers, sun, moon, and stars just have happened by some great accident?” When I was a teenager, I use to lie on my back at night, in the middle of the yard, and ponder those questions.
If evolution is true…
You happened by chance, not design.
Life is meaningless, not purposeful, because it happened by chance, not design.
Life is without value and dignity, because it happened by chance, not design.
You find you have unique skills and aptitudes, and you feel joy when you use them.
You find a yawning chasm inside of you that senses there must be some purpose to life.
The universal human quest for meaning is, itself, an argument that meaning exists.
You find that something inside of you responds deeply when others value you, and you find a sense of peace when you value others.
So, maybe there is a loving Creator.
There is no scientific evidence that demands evolution.
There is no scientific evidence that is absolutely incompatible with creation.
There is evidence all around of beneficent purposeful design.
Something to reflect on!
